How to replace the motor brushes in your Companion miter saw

1. Unplug the miter saw power cord from the electrical wall outlet to disconnect electrical power.
2. Remove the brush caps using a screwdriver. The brush assemblies are spring loaded so the brushes will pop out once you remove the brush caps.
3. Insert the new brush assemblies into the motor and reinstall the brush caps.
4. Restore power to the miter saw.
