Super easy PCB install

Due to our wonderful power service provider, we had an electrical outage that happened repeatedly. Power went out and back on 4 times within 5 minutes and fried the circuit board in my LG Refrigerator. Thankfully it was easily identifiable due to the loud clicking the board was making. I took the panel off and followed the sound. No matter how long I shut the fridge off it still made this clicking sound so I knew that was the cause and not hearing the compressor turn on. I took the model number off the board and googled to see who had it the cheapest. Once arrived it was easily replaced and within minutes the panel was back on and compressor kicked in. As a matter of fact, this part may have been failing all along since the fridge never has been as cold on regular settings since it was new. It always struggled to keep the temp at its normal levels. Yes I keep a gauge inside to see exact temps. Now the fridge is VERY cold and when turned back on, it got at it's appropriate temp within 12 hours. Very happy now that I do not have to replace a 3K fridge. Imagine if I called an authorized repair, they would have charged me enough to consider just purchasing a replacement. Ridiculous techs glad I followed my instincts.
