Perfect fit
This part is an exact fit, it took 30 min to install. Anyone having issues with the nut, should use a dull cold chisel and small sledge, the top of the nut has recessed depressions to accommodate a chisel or punch, the slots on the outer rim are intended for a spanner wrench. A few strikes on opposite sides will free the nut, it's best to clean and lubricate the threads first. I'm very happy with the part I received.

Easy to Install!!
To do this replacement, you will need a spanner nut wrench. If you don't have a spanner nut wrench, getting the spanner nut off is almost impossible. After watching a few videos about this replacement, it was fairly easy. I am very satisfied with my new washer spin basket from Sears Parts Direct. Thank you!

Washer inner basket exact fit
Replacing the inner washer basket.. Bought special Spanner wrench off a website Basket nut would not budge.. Used penetrating oil and then tried Nut Freeze spray from Auto parts store..Think 5 min spraying freeze spray did the trick.. New basket dropped in fine.. easy to reassemble.. Best Basket price found here..Thank You.. Maybe last another 25 years..

The washer spin basket
The washer spin basket is a little challenge to replace if you don't have a spanner wrench to loosen the nut once you've got that Louse you're on your way you can wiggle it back- and-forth in one way or sideways it should loosen it up and lift it off

Fixed the old Kenmore washer
Great job again by Sears Parts. My machine is up and running and all nice and tight with no leaks! It's an old Kenmore/Whirlpool that I especially like so I was pleased to be able to fix it. I think these older machines clean better than many new ones that have been co-designed by the government; they use the correct amount of water. The amount of water that the old ones used was not chosen by accident. Keep 'em running!
