It took about five days to get delivered and about three hours to install. I am a mechanic, and I did it by myself for the first time. I noticed that the one installed on my Sears riding lawn mower had a different PTO clutch than this one. I measured both before I took it out. The measurements came out the same, so I proceeded to remove the old one. Since I was by myself, I had to remove the top plastic cover and put a socket and ratchet on the top nut and wedge it against the mower. It was easy to come out, but I had to reposition the ratchet a couple of times. Once I got it out, I measured everything again. It all measured good. Before I installed this, I had to reposition the top ratchet. I installed this new clutch, and I started the bolt. I fished the wire through the frame and plugged it in making sure that it had enough slack. I then found out that the anti-rotation rod did not line up with the hole in the clutch housing. I had to bent both ends with a bench vise and hammer. After getting the right angles at both ends, I tightened down the bolt. It was close to the rotating center wheel, but it does have clearance. If it starts to rub later, I will need to take the rod out and grind it down a little. I started it up after putting it back together and it worked well. If I used a scale of 1-10, I would put it at a four being one easiest and 10 toughest. If I had help and had a pneumatic or cordless drill, I would put it at a two.
